We actually wanted to have breakfast on the terrace, but it's too cold and windy for that. So we'd rather stay in our cozy living room!

But it's time to say goodbye to this beautiful accommodation again. We're steadily making our way towards Perth. We still have one overnight stay in Jurien Bay.

After a short drive, we pass by Pink Lagoon. The water has a pink color, caused by a type of marine algae. It's definitely worth a quick stop.

Up until now, the roads have mostly been straight and we were almost alone on the road. Now the route is becoming more winding and the traffic is increasing slightly.

In Geraldton, we want to take a lunch break. We initially wander around a bit until we finally reach the center of town. We drive along the beautiful beach promenade, which invites for strolling and relaxing. Everything looks quite new and modern. After our coffee break, we continue to the lighthouse. The beach there is beautiful - powder-white, fine sand and large sand dunes. However, it's not really suitable for swimming, but it's a paradise for surfers.

We are finally out of the solitude and back in a more lively area. There are even traffic lights again!

Now we're driving through typical farmland - fields, fields, fields with crops, sheep and cattle farming pass by. The individual farms are also not so far apart anymore. It's settled land.

Then we travel along the coastal road, the Indian Ocean Drive, to Jurien Bay. It's a small holiday and fishing village on the Turquoise Coast. We have another very nice holiday home in the tourist park. Right after our arrival, we go on a tour of the town. There is also a great, fine white sandy beach here. But unfortunately, we still don't get to swim - the wind, the wind!

For a change, we're going to have pizza today. They're so big that there will be some leftovers for lunch tomorrow.
