How I got to know Visa China

Maxxanfame: 07.12.2016

For a trip to the People's Republic, a Visa China is required in any case. I have been to China several times, both for tourism and business reasons. I have found that applying for a China visa can be quite complicated.

First, I had to thoroughly inform myself of the requirements that the Chinese visa office has for a visa application. Depending on the purpose of the trip and the professional background of the traveling person, different documents must be submitted for a China visa. In any case, a valid passport and a passport photo must be submitted. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months and the requirements for the passport photo have recently been tightened. It must now meet strict biometric requirements.

When I wanted to travel to China as a tourist, I had to include proof of my hotel bookings for the entire duration of the trip and flight bookings for the outbound and return flights with the application. Alternatively, you can also submit a private invitation from a person living in China, but that was not possible for me at the time.

On my business trip to China, obtaining a visa was a bit more complicated. I had to obtain a business invitation from the Chinese partner company with a stamp and signature. In addition, my business trip was decided at very short notice. Therefore, I needed the visa within a few days. I consulted a visa agency extensively and was shown the various options for my China visa. An express visa was the right choice for me. I sent my documents to the agency so that they would arrive there before 9:00 a.m., and the visa was ready on the same day.

I have had good experiences with the service of a visa agency and can recommend it to anyone for China visas, especially when time is of the essence. I see a major advantage in the fact that the documents are checked by professional staff before being taken to the Chinese visa office. It is also a huge relief not to have to worry about travel distances or long waiting times and to have the passport with the visa sent conveniently. In any case, free advice from a visa agency is always recommended.
