Yes, that was the first day again. We arrived here in Chicago in the afternoon, we were on the road for a total of 27 hours from Rostock, and thanks to the time difference, we had a wonderful day in Windy City. A very talkative Kobe from Ghana took us to the Red Roof Inn by taxi, and we went out on foot again and went to Millennium Park to see the famous Cloud Gate, wonderful parks around it all the way to the Navy Pier... Wonderful. Had a bit of a Florida vibe! We walked about 10km and already experienced a lot. Chicago has already positively surprised me. The skyline is breathtaking and if you look closer, there are beautiful old buildings. Chicago also has a lot to offer architecturally. Tomorrow we're going to the baseball game... Yay!!! Oh, one more thing, hotel room standards in the USA [/om/destination/594e6a80bd6981074f8ab5fc/usa] are significantly different from German ones! And I don't want to complain, but the Red Roof Inn wouldn't win any awards at the heavenly hotel... But the people are incredibly friendly!! And everything is good, we're here for two days and then we'll continue with our giant motorhome.
