Packing for Malawi

So now it's finally time: I'm flying for an internship to Malawi, to the 'Holy Family Mission Hospital' near Phalombe. With me are 40 kg of supplies, consisting of suture material, gloves, disinfection, needles, syringes, etc., basically everything that is scarce on site. I'm taking one suitcase, and the other one will be taken by Jessi when she flies after 4 weeks, so that we can travel around and go on safari.

It still feels somehow unreal to fly over half of the Earth tomorrow, first to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia, then to Johannesburg in South Africa, and finally to Blantyre in Malawi.

During my time there, I'll try (as much as possible, as I don't know if there will be a sufficient internet connection) to capture everything I experience in pictures and text, for those who are interested.

Now I'm excited for the hopefully great and eventful next 6 weeks!
