After a cozy but noisy night in 'intra muros' St - Malo, we were woken up this morning by a 7.5 ton truck at window height (truck 2.5 m wide, road 2.6 m wide).
We had to watch the funny spectacle. Another coffee for strength and then we went straight to Erquy.
So we are in the capital of the scallop, unfortunately still before noon, so we had to drink a glass of champagne. There were extremely delicious cheese biscuits with it.
Our journey continued towards the dark ('the end of the world'), first stop Morlaix. Nothing kept us here for long, we were gone so quickly that even the parking lot didn't want money from us. The city looks rather shabby, not like we have known Brittany so far. So we saddle up the chickens and ride off to Roscoff. Passing really beautiful coasts and through quaint Breton villages, we arrive at our dream of a Breton small town. Stone houses, creperies, cafes and absolutely no sea in sight. Low tide here is really low tide. For lunch, we stop at a cafe, full of locals, it must be good. In the evening, we also have our aperitif here: Pastis and sparkling wine. After that, we walk along the sea to the 'bar a vin' with wine, Breton tapas and Elvis Presley.
