Buenos Aires Day 2

Tuesday, 03.03.
First appointment at the Police Museum. The exhibition of foreign police uniforms was interesting. There was actually an old Federal Border Police uniform here. I have no idea how it found its way to South America. The next appointment was at the Italian embassy. After that, we went to the headquarters of the Argentine Federal Police. Here we were welcomed by the police orchestra of the Federal Police with brass music. For me, the control center was the most interesting here, as I had worked in the control center at the airport for 23 years. Everything that was organized here in Buenos Aires by the Federal Police is actually a bit too big for us. But they clearly enjoyed it. Finally, the appointment at the Buenos Aires Cathedral. Here we were able to visit the crypt, attend a Mass with the Archbishop, and finally have a little snack. And again, the same companionship throughout the day as described in the previous days.
