With a group of other exchange students, we went to Cape Town again today. We first went to the University of Cape Town and then to Rhodes Memorial, where you have a beautiful view of the city. For lunch, we went to the Food Market at the V&A Waterfront. Finally, I tried Biltong, a South African meat specialty that is best compared to bacon. For lunch, I had Pap and Fleis. Pap is cooked brown beans and Fleis was tender beef. It wasn't bad. At the market, there was also a really cool tea stand that smelled absolutely amazing. It's incomparable to the tea at home.
Afterwards, the tour continued to Signal Hill, where you have a great panoramic view of everything that Cape Town has to offer. In the front, you have the city, and in the back, you have the mountain range of Table Mountain, Devil's Peak, and Lion's Head, and on the other side, Camps Bay and the ocean. You can only fall in love with this view.
