Eurovelo 6

We have chosen Eurovelo 6.

We cycled the first section from the Atlantic Ocean to the Black Sea in May/June 2017. It was 1900 km from Nantes to Ulm, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful scenery and well-designed cycle path in mostly good weather. We were particularly impressed by the great rest areas, little bakeries, and numerous campsites in France. See pictures in the review.

Thanks to the plenty of free time we have now :) we will start in Ulm on June 10th, 2018 and cycle along the Danube to the Black Sea. After that, we will continue to Bulgaria. We will decide what comes next spontaneously!

We are looking forward to four months of being 'on the road', enjoying nature, camping, cycling, and hopefully many pleasant encounters and experiences.
