Starfish beach

Our hotel was located on the southwestern side of the island, so it was a very long way to Starfish Beach, which is located in the northern part of the island. On the way, we saw the famous island pepper drying at the roadside, banana trees, papayas, many flowers, a part of the national park, and even a snake crossing the road in front of us and snapping at a passing scooter! But the long way was worth it!! Although there was a lot of trash at Starfish Beach, like everywhere else, the sea was beautiful and clear, and it was always shallow, so we could see the starfish well. We also touched them, which was really strange and funny, but we were always very careful and did not hold them above water to avoid killing them! After that, we ate fresh seafood at the waterfront restaurant, and from there we could see starfish in the water too!
