Norway Roadtrip through the southwest

We were traveling by car in Norway in September 2022. Our rough route was Kristiansand -> Stavanger -> Bergen -> Flåm -> Røldal.

In advance, we booked the ferry from Hirtshals (Denmark) to Kristiansand and the hotel in Kristiansand. Along the rest of the route, we mostly stayed in cabins (Hytta) at camping sites and spent one night in a tent as well. We usually decided where to stay spontaneously, and it was not a problem to find accommodation at a camping site during our travel time.

One thing first, we were extremely lucky with the weather. We had no rain and often over 20°C, except for the day of departure. Of course, weather conditions can be different, and anyone planning a trip to Norway should be aware of that.

It was a fantastic journey, and we were amazed by the nature every day. You have the feeling that everything is much more relaxed there. Even today, we are still fascinated by this wonderful country, and our next trip to Norway is already planned :-) We will, of course, keep you updated on that as well. But now, back to our Norway road trip 2022.
