Whether Metz is more beautiful than Nancy is a matter of debate among fans of Lorraine. They are both a sight to behold. There is plenty to discover, with the promenades along the Moselle River inviting you to take extended city walks, as well as the many streets in the city center with inviting shops and numerous cafes and restaurants.

This week is Mirabelle Festival in Metz, with a market in the old town. Accordingly, the number of visitors is high. To conclude, a visit to the Centre Pompidou Metz with a major Eva Aeppli retrospective. And to end the day, enjoy a beer at the cozy garden restaurant in front of the opera house.
