Diving in paradise

Today it was early wake-up again, but not to catch the ferry but to go diving. At 8:30 am we set off by boat to the diving bay. On the way there, we received a brief introduction and safety tips. The weather was perfect for diving, the sea was very calm and the sun was even shining. Shortly after 10 am we entered the water, where we started diving after a few basic exercises. It was really cool to see all the fish and corals. After the first dive, we had a short lunch break where we went snorkeling again and could see more fish and corals. For the second dive, we changed the reef and went to a huge wall covered with colorful corals and various small and larger fish. The absolute highlight was seeing a turtle swimming right in front of our eyes. After 45 minutes in the water, we went back to the boat and shortly after back to the port.

The diving trip was really worth it and a lot of fun. Anne is now considering getting a diving license as she is also very fascinated by it.

In the afternoon, we went to Maya Bay with two other Germans that we met on the tour. It was a truly dreamlike beach that could only be reached by taxi boat. Since we went there a bit later, there weren't too many tourists anymore, so we could truly enjoy the surroundings.

Tomorrow we will go back to the mainland to Krabi Town, let's see what awaits us there.
