Castle San Felipe de Barachas

Yesterday we visited the Castle San Felipe de Barachas. Contacts paid off here. If you know the cashier, you save the €8 entrance fee per person.

The castle itself is moderately interesting. It's about the history of Colombia, Spain, and England and the victory of the Spaniards in the war, which is why everything looks like in Spain here.

But the highlight here is the view, especially at sunset.

Note to ourselves: don't go out at high noon. The sun burns through sunscreen with SPF 70 in a few minutes. I definitely underestimated the power here!
