Day 10 - 31.07.2023 Ljubljana City of Dragons

A change of location was in order. On the way to Bled, we stopped in the capital.

After parking the car in the expensive parking garage, we headed to the Dragon Bridge, which we had already driven over by car. There were a lot more people here compared to our other excursions.

We then went to the castle. But first, we had to wait at the cable car station. We had received a booklet for the children, with Friderik, the castle rat, where they had to solve puzzles and at the end, Friderik revealed the castle secret.

There were also a lot of people in the castle. The doll museum was great, with many stations to play with dolls. From the observation tower, we had a great view over the city and the castle.

In the end, we took a short walk in the park before continuing to Bled.

Here, you can feel the tourist commotion more. Our hotel Savica is not as nice and spacious compared to Hotel Terme Catez, but twice as expensive 😉 We had dinner at the neighboring hotel Reklice, where we also tried out the swimming pool afterwards. Great view of the lake and the castle.
