Our last day....😢

Oh yeah....

you read it right, today is our last day.

We started the day with a delicious breakfast (like every day...).

Then the big kids (Julien, Emil, and Marco) went to the beach with Frau Hahn.

Well... the water was once again not there... but it didn't matter. We had a mud fight, saw the tracks of the Yeti, buried Marco, and met a mermaid.

The little ones stayed at the campsite with Mr. Klein and had a fun time dismantling the tents. After that, we had a water balloon fight.

When the big kids came back from the beach, they also dismantled their tents.

Once we almost had everything packed up, we picked out our last 'clean' clothes and got ready for the closing evening... showering, combing our hair, styling...

We walked to the nearby steakhouse and also took the bus. Unfortunately, we got caught in a little rainstorm and got a bit wet. Luckily, Mr. Klein came to rescue us with the bus.

The steakhouse was packed, but fortunately, the adults had reserved a table earlier so we didn't have to wait.

Choosing what we wanted to eat wasn't easy... there were so many options...

But everyone found something suitable, as you can see.

Together, we looked back at the holiday camp and came to the conclusion that we want to stay here for 2 more weeks.

So... no one needs to come and pick us up on Saturday...😆

After we ate our fill, we headed back because a surprise was waiting for us...

Frau Hahn walked back with three kids, the others who had eaten too much and couldn't move anymore, got to ride back with Mr. Klein.

As soon as we arrived at the campsite, a spectacular fireworks display awaited us, specially set off for us....😉

We didn't expect such a farewell 😢

Apparently, we didn't leave such a bad impression after all.

This was a wonderful last day....

....and by 11 pm, we were fast asleep in dreamland.
