Monday, good morning Bergen in the mountains! Bergen apparently got its name from the seven mountains surrounding it. We woke up just as the sun was rising, pulled back the curtains, and the ship was already docked in the industrial harbor. The weather is also good, not warm but mostly sunny. We had breakfast and soon left the ship. The harbor shuttle took us to the harbor exit and there we could directly board the Hop on-Hop off bus.

 We stayed seated for the start, the bus drove us through the city and we received the appropriate information via the audio guide.

 For the second round, we decided to stop at the Floyen railway, which is one of the house mountains. We then took the funicular to the summit in a few minutes. Took some photos of the great view of the city, fjord, and our boat. Then we took a short walk along a troll path, but we realized that they are not stranger than the ones at home.

 On the hilltop café, we enjoyed two cappuccinos and a Grieg bun, and of course, we wrote the obligatory postcards to you. Then we headed back down to sea level and returned to the ship.

 Bergen delights with its beautiful houses (many made of wood), the surrounding landscape, and of course, its waterfront.

There are various markets with all sorts of things from the sea, sausage made from elk, reindeer, and whale 🙄 etc. Finally, we boarded the 'Hop on' bus and returned to the ship. A little tired but with many great memories.
