Ba Be National Park

Vietnam follower!

It continues, hooray! Yesterday I took the bus from Cao Bang to Ba Be National Park. A terrible bus ride, as the bus was packed with people and luggage. And the foul-smelling rice liquor of my well-alcoholized neighbor didn't help either. Completely exhausted with my stomach and nerves, I arrived in Ba Be and what can I say? Incredible here.

The park is a paradise of green forests and thousands of animal and plant species. Unfortunately, I couldn't capture the monkeys I was hoping for on camera. But the boat tour on the lake and the river was simply amazing. The weather is still not the best and with sunshine, it would undoubtedly look even better, but that's also part of northern Vietnam: clouds and occasional rain.

Furthermore, I found a super nice hostel again. Finally, with a room all to myself and an incredibly friendly couple who serve the best food that can be found here. Otherwise, it is very idyllic here. There is nothing around except a few farmers working on their fields and children playing soccer next door. So, the perfect place to just relax.
