21/09/2019 Wakanui Beach and a smiling monshark

First day off after 8 days, that feels so good :-)! The sun was shining so beautifully that we decided to go to the beach. Wakanui Beach is about 1 hour away from us, but we combined it with our shopping trip and we already have to drive 40 minutes (in the same direction).

At Wakanui Beach, you should be able to find gemstones, of course we weren't lucky. And, of course, the sun had disappeared when we arrived :-D. It was still nice to see 'something different'.

Although we didn't find any gemstones, we found pretty shells and a smiling dried-up shark... you don't see that every day, do you?

Tomorrow we want to continue working on the van and in the evening go to the bar here in Mayfield with Joe (the Chinese guy who lives in the house with us), he is only here for a few more days and then he will move to another farm (about 300 km away). He will be working on the West Coast and we have definitely planned to visit him there.
