Two weeks in Southland

At the start of the new year, our journey continued through the Catlins and Fiordland, the absolute south of the South Island. Two regions with seemingly endless nature reserves and numerous attractions. Often cut off from the outside world and shopping opportunities, we enjoyed simply having our peace and quiet and went on extensive hikes or just chilled out our lives directly at isolated campsites. The numerous recommended but overrun with tourists attractions, such as lighthouses and etc., did not bring us joy and we enjoyed having some days just for ourselves ;).
