Day 8: Ganges Sunrise (02/27/2017)

We really wanted to observe the Ganges at sunrise. At 5:30 a.m., we had to get up and look for a nice boat for 5 people. Since that was not particularly difficult given the large selection, we could negotiate the price down. We also didn't want to miss out on a little morning exercise today and of course we sat at the helm ourselves for a few minutes. The Ganges is particularly crowded in the morning. It seemed as if the whole city was gathering to bathe in the Ganges. A beautiful spectacle!

Unfortunately, the rest of the day was a flop for me because apparently I had eaten something wrong.
