In Phang Nga we had three nights.
Phang Nga is a manageable little town, located directly at Phang Nga National Park, which has become famous mainly because of James Bond Bay.
But Phang Nga also has a lot to offer in terms of landscape. Surrounded by mountains and rocks, surrounded by palm forests and the obligatory Buddhist temple complexes, which are mostly located in the caves of the rocks and mountains, it was one of the most beautiful areas we have seen. The people were also extremely friendly. We were always greeted with joy and received help at all times - even if we didn't ask for it.
Perhaps this is because Phang Nga is not yet very developed for tourists and we therefore stood out.
In the three days in Phang Nga we had enough time to see everything. So we visited many caves, viewpoints, museums and parks with the scooter and of course explored the national park with a longtail boat and canoe.
Some of the 'tourist points' seemed a bit deserted. We often stood in front of abandoned tourist information centers with broken windows and damaged furniture.
However, we really enjoyed the area and can only recommend taking a look at it.
