Yosemite National Park

The last two days we have been completely taken over by Yosemite NP. Impressive mountains, unique views of mountains and valleys, dense forest landscapes with dreamy lakes and rivers as well as wildlife. There is a lot to experience and be impressed by here. Also by the crowds that flocked to the park on June 19th (national holiday). Traffic chaos, like in the Black Forest at its best during Corona times. The Americans love their nature too.

The pictures of the sunset impressed me the most because they create a great atmosphere. The colors are not edited. The purple is "natural". Petra was able to film a team of several people climbing the dome. This is also an unusual event.

Today we're heading out of the park towards San Francisco via another "impressive" road (guidebook). There we'll be taking a night tour of Alcatraz this evening.....
