Vancouver - show me everything!

Publisert: 25.11.2017

As promised, let's continue! The next day we finally picked up our rental car and this amazing view was from the Metro on our way to the airport. Rocky says 'hello' :-)

Isn't this great, this view was simply amazing on site :-)

Let me introduce the 'Water Street', no idea why it's called that, but there are great antique and souvenir shops to be found here. And the smoking clock right in the middle. A classic photo attraction for our Asians and in this case also for me!

Yummy, perfectly made pesto. Big shoutout to the 'Old Spaghetti Factory'. Fortunately, we arrived very early, because when we wanted to leave, there were crowds of people waiting impatiently for a seat ;-) It must have been a secret tip. Definitely worth a visit.

Vancouver is getting ready for Christmas... isn't it romantic!

Soooooo and of course there is a German bakery in Vancouver. I was very excited... oh my god, it was delicious there. So if the Germans are really good at something, it's baking bread. Warm greetings to Mr. Markus Mack :-P

As promised in the last post, today I will reveal the mystery of Granville Island! It's mainly about food there, but of the special kind. There is a larger market hall there, just take a look at the pictures! Then you will know what I mean :-)

Food... food... food.

Where in Germany can you find such a huge box full of such beautiful raspberries...? Nowhere exactly. Yummy, they were delicious.

Canada Goose had to be tried on... they are 'very expensive', but simply beautiful. The stinginess came back and unfortunately it didn't end up in my shopping cart.

Of course, if you are already in Canada, you have to go to an ice hockey game. Vancouver vs. Pittsburgh. I have to admit, I imagined it to be much more exciting... maybe it was also due to my tiredness that the game didn't impress me as much as I had assumed.

On the way home, a little skunk actually crossed our path... and yes, we were spared from its stink bomb. Funny to see this animal.

Just like the special squirrels in black and gray... really trusting and cute little creatures.

Let me introduce Carina on the right in the picture and on the left up to the middle our great vehicle on our long journey. I had already revealed in the last post where we are going. We're going to the Rocky Mountains, we're going to Whistler.
