Today was one of the so-called 'maintenance days'.
In the morning, looking for campsites... one can also 'waste' their time more 'meaningfully'...
The drive to San Luis Opisbo is relatively unspectacular. You see some coast and ocean, otherwise rather semi-dry inland.
SLO has a cute beach village, absolutely lovely for strolling around. (By now, no day without a beach)
Fortunately for me, tonight there was the local farmers market - very great.
The whole town is buzzing and for the first time I get an authentic feeling of what it means to be in California.
The town is very cute, you could shoot a series here ad hoc.
The people are relaxed, open and enjoy themselves. In the meantime, I have adjusted my movement from efficient and possibly hectic to casual and rather slow. You really don't see anyone stressing around here.
The shops are quite quirky, similar to Maxvorstadt-Schwabing, but not in the lead (apart from the size comparison)
And I almost went to bed early... so many impressions and sun are exhausting :)
