I was tired, but I didn't have to go far to the cinema. Before that, I treated myself to a BigMac for 7.90 soles (approx. €2) because of a promotion that I ate in the park. Even though it was Monday, there was still a lot going on on the streets and in the park. Then I'm going to the cinema. It's nicely done, there are six halls, but the snack sales were manageable. The nachos for just under €2 looked ridiculous. Popcorn was available individually in small (10 soles), medium (11 soles) and large (12 soles = €3). I got a churro with chocolate for 2.50 soles (0.75€) and a medium popcorn, which was only available in salty. I had something to drink with me. The seats were very low to the floor and there are even tablets for snacks.
About the film: I thought it was about an earthquake, but it was about an accident at a chemical company in China, where different substances react with each other, causing explosions and pressure waves. It was primarily about the firefighters, who of course did their job well and in the end solved the precarious situation with the help of a scientist. Spectacular images and the film makes you excited. It was supposed to start at 10:10 p.m. and normally, when the time is on the movie ticket, I know that the commercials start then, but when I got there shortly before 10 p.m., the commercials were already running. The movie started at 10:10 p.m. and went until midnight.
All in all a nice visit.
Then I went home and went straight to bed.
