Sightseeing in Tokyo with a lot of rain. We started in Shinjuku, where the Japanese government buildings are located. You can ride up to the 45th floor of both towers for free. However, it was so foggy that we couldn't see anything :)
After that, we continued to Harajuku. Harajuku is more for young people who like to dress up (especially on weekends). But since it was raining, there were only regular tourists there. So off to the Kawaii Monster Cafe (kawaii = cute in Japanese). Cute and expensive with very bad waiters. But they have a very delicious milkshake :)
The last stop of the day was Shibuya, which everyone knows. At least the intersection where thousands of people cross during rush hour. Right by the train station is also the statue of Hachiko, the famous Akita dog who waited for his owner at the station for years. Unfortunately, his owner passed away during work and never returned.
The next day we went to the famous Tsukiji Fish Market, ate delicious sushi, and also visited the Tokyo Tower. Of course, Tokyo also has a sumo arena, but it is not accessible to tourists. However, there is a small museum and we even saw a young sumo wrestler (there are over 700 sumo schools in Tokyo). You can recognize them by their traditional clothing and of course, their hairstyle :)
