Now we are in Trelleborg on Wednesday. First, we disposed of water and toilet and then headed for our parking space for the last night in Sweden. After about 50 minutes of walking, we reached the rather inconspicuous city center of Trelleborg. There isn't much to discover here. But it's really ideal for waiting for tomorrow's ferry.
I have often wondered how the Swedes open their windows because they almost always have a small lamp, plants, and decorations on the window sills. I thought to myself that they don't go through the effort of clearing the window sill every time to ventilate. But now we have discovered what makes the difference to German windows. The Swedes have tilt windows - like the skylights we have. This means they don't have to move anything to open the window!
Just as we were getting comfortable in the camper in the evening, another motorhome next to us turned and rammed into our front bumper. Luckily, it was a German. But we couldn't reach our landlord, the police, or the opposing insurance. We hope that there are no problems with the insurance and no costs for us. However, we still have the annoyance. It happened on the last day, of all things - so far we have come through the vacation without incidents.
Nevertheless, we will try to enjoy the remaining time.
