Thanksgiving and gingerbread houses

The next week was short. I was just working on Monday because we left for thanksgiving Tuesday around noon. It was a 4 hour drive and we didn't hit bad traffic. The next day we went for a hike called the thousand steps.

The best about this trip was, that there was no signal at all. It was just nice to not be at the phone all time. So we did a puzzle and I did a couple sudokus. On thanksgiving day, I watched Molly and Susan preparing the turkey and the other food.

On Friday I went for another hike. It's just a nice place to hike.

We went back on Saturday, so everybody had a little time to get back to normal. The next week felt really quick but it started to get kind of boring to 'just' watch a two year old all day. Everybody would say that's because of Christmas, but I can tell you with me it was not. I just got kind of bored by my daily schedule.
We planned on building gingerbread houses on Saturday, so Gerry's grandmoms came over in the afternoon and we had a lot of fun, drinking a couple glasses of wine and building gingerbread houses.
We went back on Saturday, so everyone had a little time to get back to their normal routine. The next week felt really fast, but it started to get kind of boring to 'just' watch a two-year-old all day. Everyone would say it's because of Christmas, but I can tell you it wasn't for me. On Sunday I had my last class for the whole year. I was pretty happy after that was done.
