28/12/2019 - a very special day in New York

Ben and Lukas supposedly went to the baseball game today and I spent the day at home. Later, I also drove into the city to meet them. We wanted to go out to eat and enjoy the city life. Ben picked me up near 5th Avenue and we walked into Central Park. It was already pitch dark and I really wondered what we were still doing here. Lukas was waiting for us on the famous Gapstow Bridge and I was greeted with a compilation of shared moments from the last 1.5 years. At the end of the unique movie with musical accompaniment, I received the question "Will you marry me?". I was already moved to tears and then another video came. Friends and family congratulated us. Some were missing though?! And suddenly, the missing ones were live and in color in front of me, my mom, Ben's mom with her boyfriend, Ben's dad with Biggi and Anja, one of my best friends. The whole world already knew what Ben has been planning for 2 years, except for me. This day is simply indescribable. But I can say one thing, it was the most beautiful moment of our world tour.
