Day 15

Today we only had about 130 miles to drive. Time for pit stops.

We made the first one at Presque Isle State Park again. This time at Beach No. 10. Today it was unguarded, which didn't stop us and some Americans from swimming 😆

Today with some waves and a bit more wind. Since the water has a pleasant temperature, no problem. While driving around Presque Isle, we could see how different the beaches are. Beach No. 9 also looks great.

The wind picked up stronger and we could hear the thunder of the storm passing by to the south. ⛈️

We drove along the coast and made a brief stop in Barcelona 🤔🤣👍🏻 A sweet little town with a harbor. From the outside, the waves were already hitting the pier quite impressively. I keep thinking I'm by the sea the whole time.

Next stop was Lake Erie State Park, now we are in the state of New York. Small but empty 😂 You can camp here and go to the water. Not a beach, but slate rock with sand and bigger waves 🌊🌊🌊 and no one except for a Yogi doing his meditations 😆

Next stop Dunkirk 🤣🤣🤣

First Spain, now Belgium, I'm confused... Coffee and restroom break at Tim Horton's Café, another chain. Not recommended, everything is too sweet...

Through Buffalo, many industrial ruins, and on to Niagara Falls. Checked in and headed back to Niagara Falls State Park. The falls from the American side. It's quite impressive as well, even though you can't see the Horseshoe Falls in full glory!

In any case, it's also great to see the river and the preceding rapids and the flow speed 😲

Fortunately, by 7 PM, there weren't so many tourists 😆
