This morning we decided to take a tour together to the hot spring near Fask and then to Amtoudi. We drove on a track to the hot sulfur spring. They used to try to drill for oil here, but instead they found this hot 39-degree sulfur spring. It is a small round basin. When we arrived, there was a Moroccan man sitting in the water. It was a bit surreal. Palm trees and desert-like landscape all around, and in the middle, you can splash around in the hot water. To reach the asphalt road, we had to drive on a bumpy track. A Moroccan man got stuck in the deep sand. What to do? Klaus professionally deflated the tires and pulled him out. He was probably on a Sunday trip with his family and showed great gratitude. The road to Amtoudi was only asphalt, with beautiful views of the surrounding cliffs. We went to Amtoudi because of the old storage castle that sits 100m above the village on a rock. But we were already quite late. So, better to have dinner first and visit the castle tomorrow. We went to a Moroccan restaurant where Tajine was served. It took a while, but of course, everything was freshly prepared. He also showed us the parking space, everything was great once again.
