Stage 6: From Passau to Linz

On October 1st, I followed the Danube River all the way to Linz. Due to a landslide, some parts of the route were closed, so I had to take small ferries multiple times to change the riverbank. In Linz, I had my first rest day, which was much needed! I was also excited to sleep in a proper bed at the youth hostel after camping in temperatures as low as 2-3°C last night. The next day, I started with a free walking tour and then took the train to Pöstlingberg to enjoy the view while indulging in a piece of Linzer Torte.
