So now we finally went to Astrid Lindgren World and we were so lucky with the weather. Like at Legoland, we had the brightest sunshine and pleasant temperatures.
Since the holiday season in Sweden is already over, there were not too many people there.
In summary, we really liked it there and the park is worth every penny. We had a lot of fun and spent the whole day there.
Everything is very detailed and lovingly designed. There are Mini-Vimmerby, small towns and giant houses that you can of course go inside and the sets for the different stories that you can also look at from the inside. The following sets and stories are available:
- Villa Villekulla (Pippi Longstocking)
- Katthult (Michel from Lönneberga)
- Mattis Castle (Ronja the Robber's Daughter)
- Cherry and Rose Valley (The Brothers Lionheart)
- Junibacken (Madita etc.)
- Rasmus and the Tramp
- Karlsson-on-the-Roof
