We visited the French Riviera from 29.07-01.08 and visited the usual cities like Nice, Cannes, and St. Tropez. And of course, the Principality of Monaco.
So the "poor and beautiful" have arrived among the rich and beautiful 😜. Some people even showed that they were distancing themselves from people who are not so wealthy (private beaches, yachts, etc.). I actually prefer the people at the campsite 😂 (nicer and more helpful). Additionally, we saw thousands of cars that were worth more than half a million. I really don't know. In other places, people are starving while 'they' are sitting on their million-dollar yachts. Well, anyway, back to the blog.
Nice: A super 'cool' city where you have everything you need. You can walk through the city, through the narrow streets, to a beautiful viewpoint (where you can see the whole city from above), and of course, you can go to the very beautiful beach. We did all of that in one day.
Highlights were eating mussels, the beautiful streets, and the beach.
Monaco 🇲🇨: Then we went to Monaco. There, we first visited the whole city and later went swimming.
Highlights were the Prince's Palace, the old town, and the view over Monaco.
Cannes: We walked through Cannes in the evening. A very beautiful city in the darkness with the illuminated Ferris wheel, which we rode, and the huge hotels.
Highlight: Ferris wheel 🎡
St. Tropez (Village of the Rich): We only walked through St. Tropez for 1 1/2 hours, which was enough for us. Beautiful village. Similar to Cannes, but smaller.
Overall, it was very nice on the French Riviera and you can go on vacation there anytime.
We especially liked Nice.
Best regards to Saarland 😘
More pictures to come because I don't have Wi-Fi.
