Noch another Stavechurch and noch another Stavechurch and noch...

After the Stavechurch of Urnes we encountered several other Stavechurches. Some are advertised as tourist attractions, some were simply standing by the roadside and a small one was so well hidden that we used it as an overnight stay.

After the oldest Stavechurch in Urnes, there was the most beautiful Stavechurch (according to the internet) in Burgundy. We actually didn't find it more beautiful than the others, but it was crowded with tourists. And finally, we were at the largest Stavechurch in Norway if not in the world, as I haven't found anything to the contrary. That was quite impressive.

Entry is required at all churches, and it's not too expensive. 10 euros per person for a 15-minute tour.
