Our trip to Arashiyama. After a short train ride, we walked to the Tenryuji Zen Temple. There, we were able to wander through the meditation halls and admire the beautiful Zen garden. After that, we went to the Iwatayama Monkey Park after a walk through the bamboo forest, where we encountered Japanese macaques.
On our way back, we stopped by the Kyoto Film Studio Park. Ninja movies from Kyoto are filmed there. We watched a ninja show and got to see how the effects are created in the movies.
In the evening, we were able to attend a Geisha performance in Gion. Afterwards, we enjoyed delicious Yakiniku. We spent the night at a very modern capsule hotel.
