After a perfectly punctual train ride on Friday and then a bus through Wilhelmsburg, we arrived at the ship, the Hurtigruten Otto Sverdrup. Nice exit from the port of Hamburg, then a little disappointment because we hadn't actually booked a bunk bed. But then we got another outside cabin, with a window you can see more than with a porthole - and we even moved up a few floors. So we drove on gifted…
However, the stop in Esbjerg was skipped due to the weather and as a result we had a day at sea with lots of waves. Information and introduction to the crew - and otherwise sleep.
This morning we arrived in Norway, to compensate for Esbjerg we drove into the Lysefjord and before breakfast we marveled at the first stark rock faces, here the Preikestolen (Predict Chair - Pulpit)
It's really awesome to drive through the countryside!
