We parked our vehicle a little outside, right by the Arno river.
Since we didn't feel like doing anything else, we just stayed at the parking spot and took out Per's mini swimming pool so he could cool off a bit. Jelto went out on his bike for a bit to get our dinner.
The next morning, we woke up pretty early (5 o'clock), for some reason Per gets up that early. Luckily, we can cuddle a bit at that time and we didn't need to get up until half past five. So we were able to start our bike tour to Florence along the Arno river, early in the morning when the city wasn't too crowded yet.
We visited a few sights and strolled through the streets, although it was a bit tricky with the bike trailer because it didn't fit everywhere. Besides, there are cars driving through the entire city center, which was also a bit annoying.
After the three cities of the last few days, we realized that we want to spend some time in nature for one, two, three days.
Back at the parking spot, we had lunch and set off.
First, we went shopping and bought quite a lot because we didn't know exactly how long we would have to do without a grocery store.
