After a hearty breakfast with my host, I set off for Yerevan. The route initially led to Sevan in good, albeit cool, weather. Here, I wanted to see a church located on a peninsula in the lake. As it turned out, it was a real tourist hotspot. After that, I continued on to Yerevan. As I approached the city, Mount Ararat appeared in the background. It seemed as though this gigantic, snow-covered mountain was right on the outskirts of the city. My accommodation is in the middle of the city and is so far the best hostel I have seen. After checking in, I set out to explore the city. Among other places, I visited the Kond Graffiti Area, the Kond Pedestrian Tunnel, and the Missak Manouchian Park. My first impression of the city is quite positive, even though the same applies here as to other cities I have visited on my journey: Where there is light, there is also shadow.
