Brandenburg is a city on the Havel River.
Despite being a waterway used by commercial shipping, the journey is delightful thanks to the beautiful water and land surroundings!
We navigate the large lock in Brandenburg (there are two chambers, we will go through the left one) without complications, with only two other sports boats joining us in the large basin.
Right after that, we turn left and navigate through the city's water network to the mooring 'Am Slawendorf'. The open-air museum about the Slavic history of the region is closed due to Corona, so we stroll through the old town and new town, both worth seeing and with a certain charm.
