Paris 2021 - Day 6

Saturday, October 30, 2021 - Day 6

As yesterday, we take the train to Marne-la-Vallée to Disneyland, as we already have tickets for it. And thankfully, this train ride is also included in the Metro weekly ticket.

Well, what can I say. Personally, I feel that I, as well as Lisa (16), are too old for Disneyland. It is a stark contrast to the beautiful city of Paris, and the fast-food dining in neon-lit large restaurants is not for us.

Besides, the admission here was more expensive than all the admissions to our seven cultural sights.

So, we scratch that and head back to Paris for shopping. We discover Urban Outfitters, Bershka, Kiko, and then go to buy many, extremely good macarons for those back home at Maison Thevenin. An important tip from our experience: always carry this valuable pastry in your hand luggage and handle it carefully, as they are almost destroyed in the suitcase.

Pay the hotel, pack our bags, and make a quick stop at Bar Le Trait d'Union, as tomorrow we have to wake up early (!) - Departure.
