A successful day

Hello friends!

Mareike and I slept in again today and had our Kellogg's breakfast in bed. Then we stayed in bed for a while and fell asleep for about an hour again.😅🤦🏼‍♀️

But then we were woken up by a gentle knock from the cleaning staff. Actually, she wanted to make our rooms beautiful again, but we politely declined. 🙈

After we woke up again, we got dressed, freshened up, and ordered an Uber. Today we visited the most famous landmark in San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge! 🤩🌉 We were simply fascinated and couldn't stop marveling. We took some photos and took a complete walk across the bridge, back and forth! Due to the coronavirus, we were almost the only ones there and were able to fully enjoy the view of the Golden Gate Bridge!

During the walk, we were able to observe seals and even a small school of dolphins. Due to the great weather, we had a clear view of the ocean, the bridge, the landscape, and the city! We are still thrilled and would recommend everyone to see the bridge for themselves! 🤩

On the way back, we were lucky again. Since neither of us got an American SIM card, we have no internet outside the hotel and therefore cannot order an Uber back or make phone calls with our German SIM cards, which are more expensive, of course. So we went back to the parking lot and found a taxi driver who had no fare at the moment. We negotiated a fixed price with him and he drove us back to the hotel. 😊

When we arrived there again, we got ourselves lunch, mozzarella sticks, and chicken wings. But the chicken wings were way too spicy for me, so I ate the rest of our pizza.

After that, we stayed in the hotel, watched TV, and played games.🎲

In the evening, we found a Subway, but when we arrived, it was closed due to water damage 🥺. So we went back near the hotel and wanted to buy falafel, but they were also in the process of closing the shop. 🙄 So we decided to go to a small store and buy freshly made noodle casserole there. 🙈

We spent the rest of the evening doing nothing and playing games. 👍
