In my opinion, there are three plagues for the cyclist: heat, strong wind with gusts (of course from the front), and rain. We didn't have heat today. Well, we're nearing the end of the tour and today we left the cycling paradise of Holland. The weather god thought, 'Let's distract them a little.' By noon, the stupid wind was accompanied by rain, and in the afternoon it was 'just' wind. We primarily cycled through rural areas, took a break in Weener, and then continued to our accommodation for today. In any case, it's very quiet here.
By the way, today I noticed that there is a certain emptiness in my head, a kind of deep relaxation. I don't know yet if that's really good, and my boys should refrain from commenting on that.

A few kilometers after Winschoten, we came across the North Sea Cycle Route again and cycled it down to below Leer. Then we followed the rivers Ems, Leda, and Jümme, which we rarely saw because of the dikes.
