Bicycle tour Day 27

The first 10 km were spent getting out of the city of Nevers and its suburbs. Then, the route followed along the Loire River, which was occasionally visible. There were long stretches on a dam. As there were small groves between the riverbank and the dam, the river was not visible. Towards the end, I rode along the canal again. The landscape became slightly hillier, but the route had hardly any inclines.
The weather is still good, the sun is barely bearable. There was some strong wind, but mostly in the right direction.
Unfortunately, I am now experiencing technical problems with the bike. The cable for the front derailleur is frayed. For the last few hours, I only rode in the middle gear. With the current route, that's not a problem, as I can manage with 5 gears. Let's see how it develops.
Today, the hotel is not located on a busy street. But right next to a church, and my room is right next to the bells (at least it feels that way). Well then, good night.
