Ruhe Monat/ rest month

Hey! 😁

There you are again. ☺️

This month is a little more relaxed during the week. But on the weekends we usually have camps here where we always help out. 😃

But now that we don't have school anymore, it's possible for us to do something together in the evening more often to just enjoy the community among us students. So we just go out together to get Slushies at McDonald's or implement any other ideas. 🤪

In my media major, I'm getting more and more involved with filming videos, doing interviews, and then editing those videos. Sometimes I also get time to practice. For example, this week I went out to the pasture once to make some cute clips of the new foals. 😍

This weekend was the father-son camp. There was the possibility for the fathers and sons to climb (yes, we were allowed to climb later then 😉), to shoot, to do the confidence course in the forest, to fish, to hike or to participate in various ball games. All the things that men and boys just like to do. 😅 In addition, in the morning and evening there were interesting devotions prepared for the fathers and sons.

By the way, the shooting was at a fort on the ranch property. Unfortunately, this burned down last Thursday. It was probably a campfire where you thought it was out and the heat and wind coming the next day. I can still remember when we stayed in this wooden hut on my birthday! It's just a shame to lose such a beautiful place that was also used for overnight camps. 😕 There was definitely a lot going on here that day. Several fire trucks arrived but unfortunately couldn't save much as you can see in the picture. Hopefully this will be rebuilt! 🤗

This month is drawn between rest periods and work. The perfect preparation for the summer camps that start in about a month. Before that comes staff training and after that time I have to decide what to do during the three week break from first and second year of school/study. 🤷🏼‍♀️ So far I only have ideas....

What I will ultimately do but then comes when I am first sure myself. Until then, I just have to wait.
