Rhine and Moselle

On 30.04.2023, it will finally happen.

The day before, all functions were checked once again, as both engine temperature sensors had decided to stop working the week before.

The generator also wanted to be convinced one last time that it will be an important part of the journey.

So on 29.04 in the afternoon, we could confirm that everything was on board and all functions were present.

One last beer and let the last steps pass through our minds. Everything is correct, so we ordered a taxi for the next day, leaving at 6:30 am from home.

Arriving in Erfelden, we had our coffee, checked the engine, and turned on the controls.

We didn't want to disturb the latecomers from starting their boats in the neighborhood at this early hour.

The next kilometers are almost obligatory, through the Altrhein to the northern tip, then on the Rhine to Koblenz, and from Koblenz up the Moselle.
