We are going to San Francisco :)

Today we had our first full day in San Francisco. After a very good breakfast, once again in a diner, we set off on foot to Pier 39. When we arrived there, we were immediately impressed by the colorful and crazy world of businesses and the extraordinary shops (sock stores, magnet stores, candy stores). At the end of the pier, we were able to enjoy the wonderful view of the sea, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Alcatraz. After a more or less short photo stop, we discovered a sea lion. First very excited by one specimen in the water, we followed the increasingly loud shouting noises and found ourselves in front of about 50 of these animals, happily drying their golden brown fur on specially built platforms.

The next highlight on our exploration tour was Chinatown. From one moment to the next, the appearance of the city changed. Chinese characters are everywhere, suddenly everyone is wearing a mask (even on the open street), and fresh vegetables were affordable here. Of course, we immediately took advantage of this and got our dinner in one of these Chinese stores.

Back at the hostel, we started cooking right away - rice with fried vegetables and soy chicken. While we familiarized ourselves with the kitchen equipment, we noticed something important: a large coffee dispenser. So we don't have to go get coffee every morning :). Although we immediately took advantage of this, the jet lag sent us back to bed after eating.

Woken up by three newly arrived Spaniards, we gathered our energy once again and took a short walk to a nearby park. Here we could relax and review the day.

That was our first day in San Francisco :) we will be in touch with new photos and stories soon :)
