1. Stop Dubai

We made our first stop in Dubai; an impressive mega city with dozens of luxury malls and hundreds of skyscrapers that were built in the middle of the desert within a few years... highly recommended for a stopover!

After the impressions we took from Dubai, we continued on a 16-hour flight to Auckland, New Zealand.

We also survived this one without any major incidents and now, after about 27 hours (unfortunately) without sleep, we are looking forward to the bed in our - let's just say simple - hostel with a 6-bed room, even though it's only 6 PM here and there's a lively atmosphere outside -,- (By the way, an upgrade to a twin room for the first night was not possible... very flexible here ;))
