14th May/45th Day: Cluny - Tramayes

A signpost in Cluny shows us the way ahead, it runs partly along the pilgrimage route from Taizé to Assisi in Italy.

There is only nature on the way, it is a very short stage of 19 km, the planning did not leave much room for anything else.

Who's the boss?

The pilgrim hostel is very simple with Jacques, we cook together with a couple who are on their way to Assisi. They have planned for 2-3 months.

Marcel cooking

Marcel won't be walking with me anymore starting tomorrow, he has his hammock with him and often talks about the small budget. I have to accept that, even though I felt well taken care of with Marcel the past few days.

But it's not long now until Arni arrives, I'm already very excited about it.

I have now planned the stages to Le Puy-en-Velay exactly: there can't be any more cancellations, then we will both arrive there on Saturday in one week. That means for me, 25 to 30 km every day from now on😊😊😢
