Oh man, how do you sum up this trip? In short: it was the best time of our lives.

In 10 months we traveled around the world with our backpacks. We visited 11 countries on 5 different continents and are incredibly grateful to have had the privilege of making this trip. We were further and longer away than ever before, saw big cities and impressive nature, were in deserts and rainforests, on high volcanoes and in deep seas, we discovered diving, saw lots of great animals, and got to know different cultures and sat in pretty much every form of transportation imaginable. We felt welcome everywhere and met many great, inspiring and warm people. As we explored the wide world, we grew as individuals and as a couple. And even though we were so far away from home, you were always with us in our hearts. And despite the distance, or perhaps because of it, we know even more what we have in our home and our loved ones. We are very grateful to all of you for joining us with this blog!
